We are excited to share with you this master ensuite bathroom we have finished in Wentbridge, Pontefract.

Combining natural stone look tiles & matt black knurled brassware with Vert De Terra painted feature walls, featuring compact wall hung vanity unit in black oak with one drawer for added storage with slimline ceramic basin and colour changing ambient large LED mirror installed with mood lighting.

A stud wall was built to house a modern wall hung toilet with slim top flush plate in matt black, the stud wall was carried through into the shower area which houses this luxury walk in shower with slate effect shower tray & ultimate black walk in glass panel, finished with custom made recess shelf for shampoos & bottles with hidden niche lights and all finished with knurled black brassware to match.

Challenges

There were a couple of challenges in this room, the first one being the cupboard as you walk in which was low level housing the pipes & stats for the underfloor heating which we couldn’t move but customer wanted it to blend in more.

We overcame this by building this out and tiling it the same as the rest of the room and hand crafting some bespoke cupboard doors to match the vanity unit in black oak decor.

This then complimented the rest of the room and blended in nicely with the basin unit on the same wall and by doing this helped us also create two custom shelves above in natural oak to match the bathroom door for added storage for plants and diffusers.

The second challenge was the waste stack within the room. We overcame this by building the shower tray up on a plinth and tiling and re-routing soil pipes on the outside to make sure customer had enough fall on the waste for the shower but also make sure it had a nice modern look inside which was achieved by tiling it.
