Wakefield Bathrooms is a design and installation bathroom showroom offering what we truly believe is the very best in design, service, and installation, partnered with some of the best bathroom brands available in the UK today. Working with the best staff, who all work hard to give our clients the very best possible experience.
The company was started by husband and wife team Martin & Laura Osborne, below gives you a brief insight into when it started, how it started and some of the moments that formed who we are today.
2003 
Born
We started back in September 2003 from a small industrial unit, based in Horbury Bridge, we originally opened with the sole business plan of supplying customers with the most value for money product available on the market. This proved to be a very successful start to business, we enjoyed many good years from this small industrial unit.
2005
Moving on up
We moved to a new showroom back in 2005, after a very successful start to business it was time to have a showroom with more presence and a step up in the quality of product, the new showroom based on Queen Street in Ossett was the next step in our growth as a company.
2011
Wakefield Road Showroom
After a successful period in our showroom on Queen Street, Ossett, it was time to step up another level, we moved to Wakefield Road, Ossett (Old Fancy dress shop) where we had the a complete overall of the building - everything got renewed inside to a high standard and along came a new product portfolio, we share this space with our sister company Kitchens by Design, the idea was to bring all our interior design together under one roof, a decision that’s proved to be very successful.
2022
Opening of the Trade Counter
After years of being asked why don’t we open a Trade Counter? we finally made the decision to open one, this has been something we have been contemplating for years. It was probably decided and agreed we would over the period of Covid, what do you do when you have too much time on your hands? It seems to have been a great decision as I write this, the take up from local plumbers and tilers has been fantastic and we can’t thank them enough.
2023
Celebrating 20 years in business!
A proud moment and one that shouldn’t be taken lightly, the sacrifices we have made personally to get to this point is huge, it’s a lot of commitment and an achievement I personally think only happens with people that have a passion for what they do, and every member of staff that has worked with us along the way. Here’s to the next 20 years, doing something we love. We would just like to thank everyone who has played a part in our journey so far.
